Description: |
Derived from a black and white 35mm negative, this image of an emotional woman meeting her daughter who has returned from Zambia was taken by Zenzo Nkobi in 1980. This negative was digitised by Specialized Archival Solutions in 2010. The two women in this image have been identified by Sibonginkosi Hlabangana as relatives Sadie Moyo holding her daughter Nomhle Veli Moyo on the day Nomhle came back from Zambia. By 2013 both women were still living in Zimbabwe.
