| Abstract: |
The Forgotten Voices of the Present collection consists of alternative post-1994 oral histories from three poor communities in South Africa, as well as video footage relating to the project. Conducted by Dr. Dale McKinley and Ahmed Veriava between 2006 and 2009 for the South African History Archive (SAHA), this project resulted in a book called "Forgotten voices of the Present" and a DVD called "A Dream Deferred".
