This 38-page report has been compiled by the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) to report on Phase 1 of the Mokolo and Crocodile water augmentation and Phase 2 of the Olifants river water resources development projects.
The projects are a result of government’s reaction to addressing growing water demands in the region of Olifants river catchment. The report gives a background of the current status of the project, budget allocated, budget spent, employment opportunities created as a result of the project and the projected project time frames. This report also details services providers tasked with carrying out the project objectives. This document was released by the Department of Water Affairs in respect of Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) request SAHA-2013-DWA-0001.
