This is a digital born photograph of a part of the crowd attending Bongani Lubisi's funeral. In November 2005, one of the Anti-Privatisation Forum's (APF's) leading activists and the organiser of the APF Affiliate - the Soweto Electricity Crisis Committee (SECC) - Bongani Lubisi died after a short illness. In the long-held liberation struggle tradition, Bongani's funeral which took place at a community hall in Soweto, became a political event with most APF community affliates in attendance as well as many Soweto residents.
